Designation Manager / DGM - GTM

Job Purpose:

A Go-To-Market (GTM- Urban) Manager plays a critical role in developing and executing the organizational strategy successfully. The primary responsibility is to ensure that all aspects of the GTM plan align with the overall business goals and objectives. Below is a job description for a Urban GTM Manager:

Roles and Responsibilities:

The GTM Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the go-to-market strategy for the GCPL Traditional Trade landscape in India. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, conducting market research, drawing customer insights and the execution of sales and distribution strategies to drive business growth. This role will also be involved in driving projects and do impact analysis to build scale up plans.

GTM Strategy Development:

1. Define and refine the GTM strategy in alignment with the company's goals and objectives.

2. Execute pilot on developing and improving the field force efficiency parameters and share clear value proposition and messaging strategy for the sales team.

3. Foster collaboration and communication across departments to achieve common GTM objectives.

Market Research and Analysis:

1. Conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscapes.

2. Use data and insights to make informed decisions and refine the GTM strategy as needed.

Performance Measurement:

1. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the GTM strategy.

2. Regularly track and report on the progress of the GTM plan and make data-driven adjustments as needed.

3. Develop and manage channel partner and sales team engagement program and monitor the effectiveness of the same.

Education & Experience

1. MBA from Tier 1 / 2 - B School only apply.

2. Mix working knowledge of FMCG sales + project management is preferred.

Skills:

1. Ability to be creative in using data to drive business decisions.

2. Ability to lead and handle multiple time-sensitive projects.

3. Excellent communication and presentation skills.

4. Knowledge of the industry, market trends, and competitive landscape.
