The current focus of the team is to establish build and drive a strategic program around Godrej Brand which drives long term value for Godrej and its business brands .This involves exploring for the first time looking at the brand from beyond just the consumer lens to include customers, the media, investors, current and potential employees, the society at large. .  Your Role Summary:  - This role will lead the first time ever expansion of the footprint of brand Godrej - from currently looking through the consumer lens only, to looking at other important and emerging audience groups like customers (for the many B2B businesses of Godrej), current & potential employees, citizens at large (for the social welfare programs we run and looking at Godrej as a corporate citizen).   - This role will also assist the team with conceptualization and execution of plans for the existing consumer led facet of the brand.   - This is an excellent one of a kind role for an inventive marketer who wants to demonstrate ability to market a broad range of products, services and organizations in one role  Your Role Specifications:  - Conceptualize and create the marketing mix (from consumer insight, proposition, benefit, reason to believe) for each of the consumer groups for brand Godrej. This will involve extensive research, external and internal benchmarking and refinement of the proposition.  - Create the communication mix across each of these consumer groups - leading from the proposition and being able to deploy across media.  - Plan, execute and monitor media plans for these. This will involve a high degree of targeting and experimentation to arrive at the desired effectiveness.   - Work with the businesses and divisions across the Godrej group to drive these propositions and communication of the same in a seamless manner.   - Own and drive (along with the research head) all insight related work for any of these consumer groups.   - Assist the DGM - B2C brand footprint and the AVP - Godrej masterbrand on any specific projects in the B2C space as required.  Team Structure:  - Line manager: This role will report into the head (AVP), Brand, SMG, with the skip level supervisor being the Head, SMG   - Direct reportees : none   - Close interaction with: DGM, B2C footprint masterbrand, research and digital teams.   - Good & Green teams across GILAC & G&B. HR teams across G&B and GILAC, B2B & B2C brand and marketing teams.  - External: agencies across research, media, digital, production, creative.  Skills Required:  - Project management and ability to manage tight and complex deadlines  - Ability to influence peer group and work closely with other brands to drive the masterbrand agenda   - Ability to build and use informal networks to drive the brand agenda   - Willingness to adapt to changing external environments and try out a variety of ideas on a small scale, critically evaluate them and roll out the best   - Understanding of research especially in a non product led line   - Some prior experience in having managed projects in the B2B/ sustainability (CSR) space would be a definite advantage.   - High level of initiative and a self-starter. This is a highly entrepreneurial role that will require the ability to initiate and conceptualize projects..   - Ability to operate in an environment of ambiguity   - Educational background : MBA ( Tier 1 / 2 institutes )   - Work experience: Two years of experience in a marketing role either involving B2B products and / or sustainability. Alternatively a 3-4 year experience in an agency planning role having dealt with B2B / sustainability projects
