Hot or Not is a decentralized social media platform (like TikTok) with integrated Prediction Markets, built on Internet Computer Protocol. The platform provides monetization avenues for 4.65 Billion social media lurkers (passive users) by enabling them to speculate on the short-video content created by other users on the platform. The vision is to create a user-driven and governed social media ecosystem with the users in the center. Not only would the users be given the majority share of the wealth that is being generated in the ecosystem, but the users will also have complete control over the various aspects of the platform such as governance, content moderation, development, and management, making the ecosystem more equitable and user-centric.

We, at Hot or Not, are looking for a Product Manager. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and strategy to development, launch, and growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that we are building products that meet the needs of our users and achieve our business goals.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop a data-driven product roadmap aligned with business objectives and user priorities.

2. Manage the product development process, including sprint planning, backlog management, and release planning.

3. Communicate the product vision and strategy effectively to cross-functional teams.

4. Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration within the team.

5. Manage the product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch and iteration.

6. Track progress and measure success against key performance indicators (KPIs).

7. Develop and implement strategies to increase user engagement and retention.

8. Track product adoption and growth metrics, and propose data-driven solutions for improvement.

9. Proactively research and identify emerging trends in the industry and competitive landscape.

Requirements:

1. 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager with proven success in driving product growth in a startup or fast paced environment.

2. Strong understanding of software(design / engineering) or SaaS products, programming experience is a must.

3. Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

4. Proven ability to translate business objectives into user-centric product requirements.

5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills (pref with engineering teams), with the ability to influence and manage cross-functional teams.

6. Growth mindset and a passion for building innovative products.

7. Candidates from a Tier 1 institutions will be preferred.
