Position : General Manager- Marketing Department : Marketing Job Purpose : Increases the organization's opportunities for business volumes through the design and implementation of an aggressive marketing strategy and plans based on thorough research, analysis and evaluation of the consumer and market Key Accountabilities : 1. Researches, analyzes and evaluates the competitive market environment 2. Monitors threats and opportunities and amend actions where necessary, to ensure brand/Sales development 3. Researches and analyzes all marketing activities for the business (sales - product mix - customer profile - demographic, etc.) - campaign and propose effective ideas on : Product positioning - Pricing - Point of Purchasing (POP)/Point of Sale (POS) - Sales training 4. Develops and manages creative, effective and successful annual marketing plans for the business along with the marketing strategy and annual budgets 5. Prepares Marketing plans that should include - Advertising, Sales Promotion, Public Relations and Product Development, Pricing &amp; Distribution (coordinated by relevant departments) 6. Effective control of Marketing Budgets 7. Owner of any product positioning and promotional communication&nbsp; 8. Monitors all advertising campaigns and analyze their effectiveness 9. Advises all Consumer Touch Points in line with the Customer centricity 10. Handling online and offline marketing activities 11. Maintains close liaison with all relevant departments on activities and seek any advice if required 12. Undertakes any other responsibilities assigned by the CEO/Management for creating more business opportunities
