Head of Business Development Smart Mobility
Responsibilities and duties :
- Identify potential customers across the Indian geographical landscape including but not limited to, Auto OEMs, EV Passenger/Freight operators, DCOs, C&I Customers, Real Estate Developers, RWAs, Government bodies etc.
- Achieve growth through solid relationships with prospective clients, gaining a detailed understanding of their needs, pain points, and strategic direction
- Create, sustain brand equity and enhance business value, with Strong networking with Industry bodies, OEMs, Policy makers, Clients, Vendors, Media and other stakeholders.
- Communicate and interact with business decision-makers at all levels to identify needs and requirements as well as market opportunities
- Being aware of market trends; work with communications team to ensure promotional activity is carried out to enhance the company image and increase brand on e-mobility awareness
- Researching market on EV and EV charging policies, infrastructure, technology, identifying and fine-tuning strategy of deployment, growth and potential of new markets/customer bases
- Create adjacencies for furthering business potential of EV Charging infrastructure.
- Build a credible action plan, implement and execute projects with a robust after-sales, CRM framework.
- Developing sites with suitable power connectivity, traffic density, maximized CUF.
- Provide critical support and oversight to Project Execution Team
- Build and develop a dynamic, motivated and high performance team in line with the growth of the business.
- Support in creating/communicating credible business plan/pitches to investors and lenders.
Knowledge & Experience :
- Relevant sector experience - electric mobility exposure, fleet and direct sales, commercial property, sustainability
- In-depth knowledge(preferable) of the EV industry and its current events. Understanding and adaptability to the evolving electric vehicle infrastructure solutions and offers
- Experience in dealing with Policy making bodies, Govt. procurement processes & agencies, managing & tailoring tenders to provide unique solutions to suit customer requirements.
- Overall work experience of ~14 years with a proven track record in building customer centric businesses, organization and teams. Experience in the EV industry of more than 2 years, would be an added advantage.
