Lead the GMR Cargo Business Development, Marketing & Customer Relation Program. Develop & Implement BD Strategy, design & implement various Schemes & Initiatives, Trade Participation, Marketing & Communication Strategy
- Effectively manage large no. of Customer Relations, Stakeholder & Regulatory Relationships for Cargo-centric Joint Initiatives, Strategies, Infrastructure Improvement & Regional Infrastructure Development
1. Design, Develop & Implement Cross-Country BD Strategy & Customer Connect with Stakeholders for GMR Cargo with positioning and developing Hyderabad as Logistics Hub of the South & Central Region and assuming direct responsibility of driving Cargo Business Growth through various programs and initiatives e.g. Route Development, Cross-county Transshipment Program, Diversion Program, New Products & Incentive Schemes
2. Drive & Adopt Latest Cargo Solutions & Innovation and upcoming Global Practices to offer Trade Latest Solutions of Supply-chain & Logistics for Pharma, Perishable, Express etc. e.g. Envirotainer Maintenance and Inventory Hub for Asia & EU; Transshipment to Neighboring Countries through development of Hub at Hyderabad
3. Regional Infrastructure Investment & Development through Public Private Partnership to augment Air Cargo Services e.g. Agro-marine (Fruits, Vegetables & Marine) Pack-houses with International Certifications; APEDA/APEDA and State Departments, Irradiation Facility with BARC, Bonded & Non-bonded Warehouses with Private Parties
4. Strategic Alliances with International & Domestic Airports, ICD, CFS- s, Seaports, Cool-chain Solution Providers, Regulatory Bodies and set-up network for Cargo from new locations
5. Develop new Revenue Streams and High Yield Cargo: Drive Innovative BD Strategy for creating Infra for attracting high yield cargo and new revenue streams viz. Cool-chain Cargo Hub, Charter Circle program, Imports Transshipments, Live Animals & Special Cargo Handling Center, Value-added Services to Airlines etc.
6. Induct New Cargo Categories/ Products: Incubate Product specific Excellence Centers to facilitate movement of new commodities Vaccines & Pharma, Fruits & Vegetables, Marine, Live Stock, Meat, Flowers, Garments, Pharma etc. as per trade requirements with participation of Foreign Buyers and Trade Experts, Central & State Departments, Regulatory Bodies, Trade Associations and PPP Investors
7. Spearhead - Customer Centric Culture- through maintaining strong Customer Pipeline & Customer Connect Program for GMR Cargo with Internal & External Trade Partners and Regulatory Liaison, Policy Framework and Grievance Redressal through Trade Support & Intervention
8. Strategy/ AOP for Cargo & Revenue for HYD Cargo & Alternate Make-up Plan in adverse business conditions. Achieve AOP Tonnage (Export, Import, Domestic Inbound & Outbound, Pharma Zone etc.)
9. Cargo Airline/ Freighter/ Charter Marketing: Drive growth initiatives with Regional & Global Heads of Airlines for frequency/ flight upgrade & attracting new freighter/ Charter airline; Launch new Charter Product & Schemes for adhoc charter diversions from other airports ; Drive Innovative Programs with Customer Focus for Defence, Live Goats, Vaccine, Pharma etc. through Customer Hunting & Farming Techniques
10. Tie-ups & Joint Promotion Programs: Tie-up/ Joint Promotion with Stakeholders Airlines, International Agents, State Departments for facilitation of cargo movement from HYD airport. Promotional Schemes viz. Charter Product/ Trade Incentive Schemes
11. Plan and Implement Brand Marketing, Promotion & Communication Strategy of Brand - GMR Cargo- in International Landscape focusing on the Market Leadership: International Events & Webinars, Regional Road-shows, Customer Connect Program, PR Program, Industry Awards, Corporate Tie-ups & Strategic Sponsorships for Brand Visibility for Media, Print & Social Media and Be the Spokesperson for GMR Cargo Brand
12. Predictive Business Research based on Data Science and Machine Learning
Use latest Tools to Capture & Convert current data as means to Predict Future Category wise growth to support Infrastructure Upgrade & Preparedness and also for Internal Business Analytics & Cargo Airline Marketing
- Competitive Intelligence & MIS to benchmark Growth, Innovation and Customer Satisfaction
13. Team Development and Management
Build and Lead High Performance Team with high motivation and constant skill-upgrades to match the challenging goals and provide a collaborative environment for them to grow.
14. Induct & Launch Regional Chapters of International Industry Bodies- ACFI, IATA, CEIV; Memberships of trade bodies- ACAAI, FFFAI, ACHAI, APAO etc.
