Associate Manager- Electrical

Scheduled maintenance activity:

- Planning and carrying out day-to-day preventive, corrective and activities on complete electrical systems in the plant.

- Attending to all break down maintenances and restoring the equipment into operations on time.

- Scheduling of maintenances activities as per OEM recommendations to all equipment/systems in listed tasks manner.

- Reviewing of pending notifications and directing in planned way for completions.

- Availability of equipment

- Smooth operation

Shutdown & Overhauling maintenance activity:

- Execute annual shutdown jobs and major overhaul activities in line with OEM guidelines.

- Indenting the required spares and preparation of scope of work for services.

- Execution of all shutdown and major overhaul activities.

- Support to HOD for carrying out shutdown preparation jobs.

- Lead Time.

- Plan Vs. Actual

Performance/conditioning monitoring/modifications:

- Execution of approved modifications safely, timely and economic manner and increase the reliability of the systems

- Taking part in CIP project and contributing to the team.

- Responsible for adopting the best Engineering Practices, Systems and Procedures in the Maintenance and Upkeep of the Plant.

- Condition monitoring of 400KV switchyard equipment & transformers.

- Plant Dc system (Battery Banks)-Capacity test.

- To take initiatives for improving performance/efficiency of the equipment in coordination with team members

- Adopts best engineering practices, systems and procedures, up keeping of documentation and records and well conversant with soft skills.

- Any other specific Jobs assigned - Records & Documentation

Spares, services & Inventory Management :

- Execution and monitoring of out sourced services and completing in safe and timely manner.

- Spares & Consumables planning, periodic inspection and monitoring of prudent usage.

- Preparation of material codes as per MIDAS requirements and follow up for releases and extensions.

Implementation of IMS:

- Preparations of check sheets, procedures, work instructions in line with OEM recommendations to all systems and equipment's

- Identification listing, preparations of all Hazards and impact register and preparation Of OCPs for significant ones.

- Responsible for implementation of Integrated Management Systems and other Continuous Improvement Plans which will bring awards and recognition to Plant.

- Under going all internal and external audits and compliance to all observations

- Carrying out IMS Internal audits as per schedules

- Execute regular Department Technical Audits and train the contract employees

- Audit reports

- Documentation

Cost control :

- Ensure optimization of the Inventory Costs

- Optimization of service cost by developing in-house works

- Developing of alternate vendors to all spares and services

- Planned Vs Actual.

- Within the budget.

Stakeholder management:

- Preparations and submissions of daily reports to HOD

- Preparations and submission of all maintenance reports to HOD

- Preparation and taking part in Root cause analysis activities

- Statutory Compliances related to the Electrical Systems, measuring instruments and maintaining all records of the validity of the calibration certifications.

- Ensure compliance to Permit to work system

- Calibration/Testing of tariff meters.

- Addressing to all safety audit observations and ensure completion as per time lines

- MIS Reports

- Work disruptions/work stoppage/ Statutory Requirement
