Job Description - Regional Credit Manager

- Credit Appraisal of Loan applications within defined guidelines / Policies and accordingly take decisions or recommend for approval to higher authorities.

- Underwriting cases with desired level of quality and enabling achievement of Business targets by proper training.

- To evaluate proposals of customers for unsecured Business Loans.

- Use performance history along with liquidity, debt/asset management and profitability ratios to assess creditworthiness in evaluation

- Interact with Customers & understand the business and regularly monitor delinquencies.

- Decision making within defined TAT

- Understanding of Basics of the Unsecured Business Loan industry and Peer Groups for the assessments of the cases.

- Credit Analysis along with customer visit (PDs - both Physical and Video PDs) for proposal of Business Loans, along with Individual CAM preparation with help of System generated banking etc and recommendation of the cases

- To prepare credit note / financial model with correct information (gathered via business team / public domain / other resources)

- Handling and evaluating/assessing CAM Note as well financial model submitted by Business Team

- To be able to structure the transaction in a feasible manner complying with internal credit policy and regulatory framework.

- To be able to capture critical analysis of the Business/ Promoters / Industry /financials and other specific risk w.r.t. particular transaction.

- Also to be able to write /attend for the respective mitigates against each identified risk/weakness along with the sanction conditions/ recommendation.

- To perform the financial analysis in detail attending to all major movements in P&L.

- Balance sheet while ascertaining /citing the precise reason of such movement/ variance.

Required Experience :

- Preferably having an experience of 5-8 years

- At least few years of work experience in underwriting in large/Mid corporate segment comprising of evaluating high ticket size exposures.

- Must be a CA Qualified
