As a Verbal Product Developer, you will create world-class online course for GMAT in the first phase, followed by content creation for other competitive exams such as GRE, CAT and SAT in coming years. The course development responsibilities are listed below: a. Imbibe our teaching methodology and use that to simplify complex verbal concepts and make them logic driven, so that a student doesn- t feel the need to memorize rules. Create engaging content to help users learn the same. b. Initially, content creation will mostly involve creating new questions and solutions based on what is tested in the exam. The solutions should be as per the methodology used by us to teach the students. c. With time, you'll be expected to create scripts that can be used by the visual learning team, to create professional videos. Liaise with Visual Learning team by reviewing and suggesting updates to the video content created by them. d. Think beyond concepts and focus on core skills that a student needs to ace verbal aptitude. Translate these skills into targeted assessments and questions for the students working alongside a world-class product team that leverages data analytics to provide personalized learning experience to users. e. Occasionally, review content created by other experts and provide feedback on improving the same. f. Research into the latest teaching methodologies adopted in the industry. The goal is to continuously improve the process of imparting learning to students. 2. Teaching responsibilities: Along with course creation the following teaching responsibilities exist for the role: a. Conduct online verbal sessions on topics such as Sentence Correction, Critical Reasoning and Reading Comprehension. b. Help clarify student queries on online forums and other channels of communication. What we expect from the ideal candidate? 1. Logical thought process - Should be methodical and logical in their approach. While creating content or interacting with students, not just think what is the mistake made by the student but also think why they are making that particular mistake and how can we help them rectify it. 2. Self-starter - Should be self-driven and have a constant hunger to learn and improve. 3. Entrepreneurial mindset - Should be devoted to put in the effort required to create a world-class product that changes the way student study online. 4. Diligence - Should have attention to detail and focus on shipping products with no errors. 5. Excellence in Verbal Aptitude - 97+ percentile in CAT Verbal or V40+ in GMAT Good to have (not a must) 1. Prior Verbal teaching experience (either offline or online) 2. Prior content creation experience (either offline or online content) What can you expect? 1. Compensation: 5 to 7 lacs per annum 2.
