GM/VP - Finance & Accounts - Oil & Gas

Company Profile: Our client is a very large, professionally managed, highly profitable Oil & Gas organization-World Leaders in their field. Our clients seek to recruit a dynamic & experienced professional to lead the Finance function of the Company. The position is based in Ahmedabad & reports to the Director-Finance. The position will have 3 managers as reportees. Our clients offer excellent salary/perks as per industry norms & commensurate with experience. As an overall company practice, the employment with on Direct Contract basis with our clients for 3 years & renewable after that based on performance.

Interviews are scheduled in Ahmedabad on 10th February and the position is expected to be closed by end-February.

KRA The incumbent will lead the Funds-raising role of the organisation, would liase actively with banks, investors, PE fund managers. Will also be involved in managing the IPO in due course.

Job Profile

1. The position is for GM (Vice President level) who will report to the ED (Finance and Accounts).

2. As the Head (Finance) of the flagship company of the group, the position shall be responsible for the entire gamut of Finance function which shall include:

- Budgeting, Approval of Work Program and allocation of Work Programs

- Working with multiple JV partners for our 40 plus exploration blocks

- Cash Call Management - raising finances for company, liaison with lenders,/rating agencies/regulatory authorities

- Debt Servicing, Hedging, Forex Management.

- Handling of all Audits - Internal/External/Statutory/CAG

- Will be actively involved in group company financial matters like transfer pricing and consolidation of group final accounts.

- Responsible for compliance for Income Tax, Companies Act etc

- Prepare grounds for public listing of the company for planned IPO in near future.

- Re-organisation and restructuring of business with a view to optimize tax planning and strategic alignment.

Candidate Profile Ideal profile is Post-Graduates, CAs, or MBAs aged 43-52 with 18-28 years experience of which atleast last 6-8 years must be at a senior level in Finance function of large core / infrastructure organisations e.g. Oil & Gas, Infrastructure, mining, power, metal, petrochemicals organisations. Must have raised funds over Rs.1000 crores in last 1 to 2 years through debts / equity in India and / or abroad.
