Job Summary:
This person will be part of the marketing, strategy and business development team, responsible to drive Company’s growth in India. He/ She will be responsible for driving entitlement and penetration of the company’s offerings and solutions across businesses, market segments and vertical markets in India. In addition to organic growth, he/ she will support inorganic growth including M&A, licensing and other business alliances as required working closely with their corporate strategy and business development team. This person will also be responsible for managing and supporting the overall product portfolio decisions and collaborating with R&D to ensure customer needs from various segments are embedded in products developed for the India Market. As part of this role, the incumbent will be responsible for developing customer insights through market assessments, research and intelligence.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the different business groups on strategy & business development and commercial and execution teams and others to identify strategic initiatives, organic growth opportunities to further help expand entitlement, increase penetration, as well as positioning of various offerings.
- Help develop the overall India Country Strategic Review Plan including supporting the business groups in their specific India strategic plans and execution strategies; ensure alignment with business/ global strategic plan.
- Develop detailed India market analysis; compile Fact-based analysis of market trends including total and available customer and vertical spend, competitive data and regulatory analysis; and customer needs assessment.
- Interact with the global senior management team to define and fine-tune the strategy and strategic options of the company in order to strengthen the overall India business portfolio.
- Support Inorganic growth – including acquisitions/divestitures, licensing, alliances and new business development opportunities.
- Manage and support the overall product portfolio and serve as key liaison between development and BG marketing
Qualifications:
- Education background : Undergraduate degree in Engineering along with an MBA from a top tier B-School
- Years of Experience: 4 - 7 years’ experience in the Industry in a strategy role and/ or top-tier strategic management-consulting firm
- He/she must demonstrate proven success in leading strategic planning, growth initiative, and/or operational enhancement engagements within the business or major clients in diverse technology and/or manufacturing driven industries. It is critical that the successful candidate possess proven strategic, analytical, implementation and influencing skills
