A Leading newspaper daily is on the look out for a General Manager/Senior General Manager Sales and Marketing.

JOB PURPOSE: Business Head (Sales & Market Development)

LOCATION: Bhopal

MANAGEMENT LEVEL/GRADE: M2/1 or M1/2

REPORTING TO: Vice President

AGE RANGE: 35 to 42 years

RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 10 to 15 years

EXPERIENCE:

A) Circulation & Readership Development

- Closely monitor and analyze circulation volumes, market share trends and competition.

- Optimizing the circulation potential of the market

- Maximize readership gains by building the right available visibility at the market place

- Grow readership/circulation clearly ahead of competition

- Ensure quality around the Reader Acquisition programs

- Develop calendar for Reader Engagement - Closely work with editorial for reader development

- Ensure calendar for Reader Retention programs

- Leverage channels to drive readership – Create Available Visibility

- Develop low cost model for Brand Visibility

- Ensure regular upgradation of CRM to maximize gains from our relationship with the readers.

B) Customer Delight

- To take trade engagement to the next level of trade recommendation

C) Cost Optimization

- To be able to lead complex large trade driven operations

- Ensure revenue maximization

- Put in place right policies & processes to ensure a high level of business hygiene

- Ensure cost optimization

D) Being People Centric

- Able to lead and guide a large field team

- Drive change w.r.to being the largest and most admired in the media industry

- Able to lead Knowledge Management to improve efficiency

E) Supply Chain Management

- To be able to guide complex logistics w.r.to OTIF ( On time in full) & cost
