We are a recruitment firm based at Noida. One of our client is looking for General Manager -SAP BW, for Chennai Location.

Below are the details regarding the job.

The SAP BW General Manager position’s main responsibilities would include -

- Provide thought leadership & direction for the successful execution & management of SAP BW practice.

- To enhance & manage the SAP BW Center of Excellence (CoE).

- To incorporate adequate best practices to manage the global SAP project management methodologies, principles & processes.

- Negotiate contracts with SAP & other 3rd party implementation partners.

- Ensure that the SAP BW implementations meet the business requirements & systems goals & fulfill operational/end-user requirements.

- Design platforms that integrate both SAP and legacy data warehousing systems to maximize utility and minimize cost

- Manage stakeholder relationship for each of the projects & incorporate best change management practices.

- Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies, develops technical standards to provide resolution of complex system problems, and ensures that all work adheres to the standards for the warehousing and analytics area

- Responsible for developing and communicating training and documentation for end users, hold clinics as necessary, and other user-related activities.

- Review and analyze the implemented SAP BW effectiveness and efficiency, and then develop strategies for improving or leveraging these systems on a sustained basis.

Skills & Experience Required

- 15 years industry experience, with SAP BW domain experience of minimum of 10 years. MBA/MS from premier institute

- Wide exposure to global-level SAP program evaluation, initiation, management & implementations on Global Template methodology.

- Should have played either SAP BW Architect or SAP BW Senior Technical Consultant role.

- Ability to influence & interface with C-level executives

- Candidate with Agri-Commodity or F&B or FMCG experience would be preferred.

- Work location is Chennai and will require frequent international travel.
