Title : GM - Sales & Marketing

Location : Mumbai

Reports To : CEO

Reportees : Manage a team of Regional Managers, BDM's in different regions, Product Manager, Marketing Manager & Technical Manager

Functions / Key Responsibilities :

Operational Activities :

- Conceptualize and successfully implement sales & marketing strategies, plans for increasing revenue, profit, market share and credit control

- Responsible for the P&L of the organization by increasing sales, ensuring higher margins, low employee attrition levels, higher employee productivity, etc.

- Driving sales initiatives to achieve targeted numbers by managing the sales team to achieve them

- Should have worked in End customers pace with large MNC's or large Indian Corporates

- Be in sync with Principles with respect to committed targets

- Track, analyze & monitor market trends, competition and customer preference to proactively fine tune the sales strategies and increase market penetration

- Motivate, guide & support the Sales team to achieve pre-set monthly, quarterly & yearly sales target.

- Should be caring directly top 5 key accounts.

- Should visit key customers with team.

- Take the organization from adhoc systems and processes to standardization to ensure seamless and quick execution across all Regions. Priority would be DSR's from all Sales employees and appropriate reporting mechanisms across levels

- Responsible for overseeing all client management processes including planning, selling, delivery and management in India.

- Support HR in selection of Client Facing Sales Professionals

- Conceptualize and implement image building/marketing activities for the Company

- Scale up the organization by initiating new tie-ups and positioning the Company as a National player by increasing presence across India.

Qualifications - (Minimum )

- Any graduate with proven aptitude for distribution sales. MBA/ PGDBM - Sales /Marketing would have an advantage.

Experience Requirements (Years and Kind of exposure) :

- Minimum 10 years in Networking Industry or handled portfolio of Data Center products. Managing a team of atleast 8-10 sales professionals at mid levels

Personality Attributes / Skills :

- Excellent Oral, Written, Interpersonal Communication and Presentation Skills

- Proven Consistent track record of achieving, exceeding targets. Should have handled target of minimum 30 crores;

- Good at evolving and driving high end sales strategies, internal sales processes to increase market penetration

- Ability to build and mentor a high achieving team and take them along in meeting the targets

- Proven Commercial & Negotiation Skills

- Strong Networking and Relation building skills

- Balanced task and person orientation

- Strong sense of business ethics

Target Profile :

- Only local Mumbai candidates who are willing to travel 4- 5 days a month to different regions to manage the sales operations and close key accounts.
