GM/Project Leader - Engineering - Plant

Position – Project Leader/General Manager Engineering

Reporting to – Director/board of directors

New/replacement – This is a new position for a proposed industry complex at Kharagpur (West Bengal)

Position overview –

- This is a an important position to manage the project from concept to execution of the proposed unit and will transit to head of engineering function subsequent to project execution. This is a key role.

Experience/Exposure - Ranging from 15-25 years in engineering/ project functions.

Location: Kharagpur

Qualification : B E ot B.Tech, preferably some additional training in project or maintenance.

Responsibilities

- Total responsibility of the green field project including resource planning

- Installation, Erection and commissioning of all plant machinery and utilities.

- Co-ordinate with all stake holders including Government officers for project progress.

- Co-ordinate with the production team and all contractors

- Conduct and attend Periodic Project review meetings for time and monitor variances

- Discussion with consultants, vendors etc for freezing technical specifications & lay out.

- Monitoring the ordering of equipment and machinery for the project

- Will be responsible for all the utilities such as power, water, electricity and civil work
