GM - Operations ( Staffing Services ) @ Bangalore, India  We are looking for relevant candidates to fill the following position with a leading client in staffing services domain.   Position : GM - Operations ( Staffing Services )  Education : UG/ PG  Experience : 10 - 13 years ( managing BPO back-office operations, preferably HR processes )  Location : Bangalore ( Only locals or those with 100% commitment to relocate to Bangalore with family being considered )  Compensation : Competitive and commensurate with candidate caliber and experience  Role Responsibilities and Desired Profile :  1. This job is responsible for leading a diverse team of people across locations taking care of varied functions from location support to project management to on-site management to compliance adherence apart from core activity of payroll process and associate on-boarding. The role requirement is to strategize and manage the entire operational efforts to ensure all our stake holders are satisfied. The role will be responsible for the performance management of the entire team across the country to groom them into future leaders. Ensuring 100% compliance to the processes and a strong adherence reporting timelines is a key deliverable for this profile. Provide leadership to develop performance/productive management culture. Develop monthly matrix of KPI and sustained effort to adhere to the same. Encourage innovation and creativity and at the same time institutionalize processes and systems to ensure compliance to processes and procedures thus increasing customer satisfaction. Drive key decision making process pertaining to strategic initiatives, operating model and operational execution. Strategy driver – responsible to develop & encouraging the team towards customer service strategy to increase customer satisfaction, retention, increase associates paid on time and positive word of mouth and reduce non-payment. Mentor teams to redesign / re-engineering processes & their approach towards radical Innovation; thinking about game changing models that bring us closer to our small contractor competitors who provide customized services. Drive process improvements by using quality tools and impeccable integrity towards work. Leads or partners on organizational projects or initiatives that impact the operations. Optimizes the existing resources to ensure business gains and supporting in creating process and work environment that minimizing total operating expense and maximize production. Attend all Business Reviews and own action plans. Leadership to inculcate operational rigor ensuring a high level of SLA achievement and client service orientation. Breakthrough results: Meets or exceed business goals – client’s performance parameters (Productivity, Quality & Turnaround time).  2. Responsible for day-to-day operational management and personal development of his/her team to achieve organizational goals & adherence to company’s / client’s policies. Manage not only customized complex payroll process in line with specific labour laws & guidelines, but also inbound/outbound client servicing, collections, service support, and fundamental compliance supporting the business. Regular review of operations performance, financial performance and attrition and leading the development and execution of action plans. Developing and guiding team to inculcate inter & intra department networking and coordination skills at all levels to ensure smooth running of the day-to-day operations. Work in close coordination with various functions within the organization to achieve desired results. Bringing-in and nurture talent at the leadership level, & ensuring and implementing a succession plan for all direct reports. Developing direct reports: handling appraisals, supervising, guiding, leading team managers, driving people growth. Coaching & development: Identifying development areas & skill sets of individuals and mentoring team accordingly to deliver business objectives and nurturing individual aspirations. Team building: Creates and maintains a spirited work environment that promotes positive communications and rapport building through transparent business practices. R&R: Ensuring effective and timely recognition of performance & assist in designing effective reward and recognition programs to extract maximum operational response. Employee motivation and retention. Ensures continual learning around policies, best practices, compliance, systems for team and self and appropriate implementation of the same. Responsible to ensure the Operations budget for the year is under control and adherence to the Operations expenses for the financial year. Prepare and maintain regular planning and cost reports, resource planning & business forecasting. Work force Management: Organizes work schedules in a production environment for his/her team to ensure appropriate resource allocation and coverage. Managing and ensuring hiring of resources as per budget or as per business needs. Establish and maintain a personal relationship with clients with capability to influence decision-making at the client end. Partner with Business Development team to implement best practices and align actions to meet client objectives. Revenue and profitability. Ensuring Operation’s budget within the planned budget for the financial year. Ensuring the revenue is not lost (client loss) due to bad service delivery. No financial losses or leakages – ensuring timely collection of all the payment dues from the client.  3. Alignment of operations capability to meet and exceed set operational expectations and deliverables in a cost efficient manner. Ensuring least escalations from the client due to bad servicing and no repeats on escalation. Client’s emails or queries resolved within agreed SLA. Quality of Service deliverable/emails within agreed SLA. Driving and controlling operational effectiveness resulting in associates salaries are released as per client agreed timelines. Ensuring adherence to agreed Payroll due calendar with respect to the following for the clients. Inputs are received and processed on or before agreed SLA. Invoices are dispatched on or before agreed SLA. Associates are paid on or before agreed SLA. Organization development - values based organization with management capability. Retention of Talent - Finding breakthrough solutions for attrition control and employee satisfaction. Experience in the Manpower/Staffing/Financial/HR services sector. Exposure to handling dynamic customer services environment. Experience of managing large operations at a Manager/Sr. Manager level essential, BPO or Staffing industry experience is preferred. A balance of technical, business and leadership skills. Hands on manager with strong operational experience. The profile requires excellent Leadership Skills, team building/training/retention Skills. Number / financial orientation (Drive for results). Sound decision-making, problem solving and analytical abilities required to interpret data and take decisions based on facts. Organization and people development . Hands on operations experience - Ability to create a sense of urgency with team members. High client management and relationship skills and ability to network at senior levels (interpersonal Skills). Detailed oriented. Some level of experience in Staffing/HR business or Back-office processing preferably in HR/Finance processes. Reasonable level of business perspective and capability to drive improvements based on benchmarks. Action Oriented & Multi-tasking capabilities. Flexible to adapt change. Excellent presentation and communications skills to interact with any levels within or outside the organization.
