Brief Job Profile.
Purpose:
Take charge of manufacturing operations, process improvement, and, support product development, IP, procurement & sales
Strategic Roles:
Promulgate future plans of the Company to the public so as to enhance the value of the Company
Providing reliable Technical Assessments of potential Mergers & Acquisitions
Monitoring New Technologies to make Market driven products making them commercially viable
Identifying & Overseeing Research Projects to add value to the Company, through strategic innovation
Operational Roles:
Factory Operations
Direct development of a reliable MIS covering manufacturing and support functions
Review performance of production activities (like yield, cycle time, process quality etc); involve teams in developing ideas for improvement, approve or seek approvals for CapEx and OpEx involved and coordinate with internal departments in rolling out improvement projects
Factory Support Operations
Review costs of operations; set targets for cost reductions and for effecting other improvements; guide and support team in achieving their targets
Review & tone up functions involved in order-to-cash tasks (PPC, materials supplies, quality, maintenance and such) and ensure OTIF deliveries to customers
Coordinate with procurement and sales function for a smooth order-to-cash cycle
Propagate Company's products and its relevant applications to Trade media
HSE:
Continual improvement of Safety Health Environment performance & handholding to achieve the set objectives & targets
Risk Analysis - Hazard identification / Critical Task Inventory (CTI) / Task Hazard Analysis (THA) / Location Hazard Analysis (LHA) / Environment Hazard Analysis (EHA)
HSE documentation, data control and record management
Organizing Health Check up for employees - Finding the abnormalities & devising Individual plans along with company doctor & follow up action. Organizing Wellness workshop for all the employees
Conducting periodical Safety Audits / System Audits / Compliance Audit
Create IP (intellectual property)
Manage intellectual property and permissions issues
Convert technological capabilities intro strategic business decisions
Designs verifies and amends contracts dedicated to protect IP
Prepare and establish literature on upcoming products so as to make them compliant with standard Global certifications
Participate in Government, Academic and industry groups to promote Company's reputation and to capture information that can be leverage for business
Support the development of New Products
Discuss & update Management on progress & development of products from time to time
Integrate technology-based activities into corporate strategy by working closely with other departments in the Company
Play a role of an integrator with external SMEs, internal QC/QA/R&D resources, identify and support development of new products - with clear emphasis on commercialization; oversee formalization of IP and trademarks of new processes or methods of manufacture etc
Tactical Roles:
Address & pep up the team to work towards achieving the desired & set goals
Give presentations & seminars at Technical platforms & Trade shows & Exhibitions
Brief Candidate Profile:
An Oil Technologist, preferably a Ph D in nutraceuticals or in health supplements or in similar fields. Age not above 40 years of age. At least 5 years in a Leadership Role.

Short path distillation, molecular distillation, solvent extraction

Factory's act and other statutes
Costing, pricing, and, related knowledge on finance and accounts
