GM - Operations - Aerospace/Auto

Our client, a leading name in the domestic Aerospace sector, is seeking General Managers for its sites at Bangalore and Hyderabad.

Having witnessed significant growth in its Fabrications division through overseas markets, particularly over the last two years, the GM will need to build on these achievements bringing greater success to the division through improvements in sales, customer quality, health and safety, plant quality, delivery and labour efficiency.

Role:

- As a proven General Manager, you will be MBA or degree qualified in an engineering discipline, or have significant manufacturing experience, and can demonstrate how you have delivered sustainable operational improvement to achieve world class manufacturing standards in Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery.

- The successful candidate must have held previous full profit and loss responsibility, be results-focused and preferably have an Aerospace background. You will have excellent analytical skills with strong financial awareness, including budgeting and forecasting experience, and have substantial commercial and quality management exposure.

- You will have a strong strategic focus with an ability to make sound business decisions. As an inspirational leader, you will be passionate about continuous improvement with an ability to motivate others and create a high performance culture .Experience of new product introduction is highly desirable.

Qualifications:

- MBA and BSc/BEng/BASc/BTech in one of the following disciplines:

- Aerospace/Automotive/IT/Electrical/Electrical Controls

- 4- 7 yrs. experience in a managerial role in the manufacturing/aerospace industry.
