Job Profile

1. Developing recommending and implementing human resources strategy and policy in support of Business Objectives

2. Advising the Management on a wide variety of personnel and human resource issues, as well as hands-on management of the function

3. Leading, directing, motivating and developing the Human Resources Team to ensure that the right level of service and support is provided to the Business

4. Coordinating the Company’s comprehensive training program

5. Be responsible for the recruitment of all staff

The design and implementation of a structured and sophisticated Recruitment Process designed to ensure effective recruitment of high quality recruits, and to minimize recruitment errors and wastage

Organization and attendance at interviews, and assessment of candidates.

Oversee and co-ordinate all induction programs for new staff at every level

6. Training

- Develop an integrated management development training scheme for professional staff through internal/external resources

- Develop and undertake such internal training courses as may be required

- In conjunction with departmental resources, develop in-house training seminars

- Supervise all in-house training

7. Performance Appraisal Reviews

- Oversee, develop, co-ordinate and implement the Company’s Appraisal Process ensuring that appraisal forms are issued at the appropriate time, that interviews occur and that appraisal forms are returned according to established deadlines

- Take subsequent action resulting from appraisal interviews

- Be responsible for all follow-up interviews following on from appraisals and offer the appropriate guidance, advice and training

8. Policy Development

- In conjunction with the Sr VP-HR, initiate new human resource policies as deemed appropriate and in line with current legislation

- Monitor all aspects of Employment Law, Policies and Practice, liaising with the Employment Department, when legal advice is necessary

- Be responsible for continually reviewing current personnel policies and update as and when required

- Be responsible for updating personnel aspects of the Firm’s handbook on

9. On A regular basis

- Performance Management

- Be responsible for administering and/or giving feedback to the Sr VP/Management in respect of the Company’s Counseling/Grievance and Disciplinary Procedures

- Maintain and monitor the Firms Personnel database and keep proper records of staff

- Advise on issues of underperformance of staff at all levels

- Be responsible for the co-ordination and implementation of termination procedures, and the taking of exit interviews

- Ensure that all procedures in respect of grievance and discipline are followed in the correct fashion.

Change Management

- Implement practical development programs which lead to tangible improvements in individual and organizational performance

10. Administration

- Responsible for ensuring that the office runs efficiently.

- Organize and supervise all of the administrative activities that facilitate the smooth running of an office.

- Supervise the other HR & Admin activities handled by HR & Admin team
