General Manager - HR
Position reports to: Unit Head and Head HR
Location: Madhya Pradesh
Planning administration:
- Provide leadership and vision to the organization by assisting the Head HR and Unit Head with the development of long range and annual plans, and with the evaluation and reporting of progress on plans for over 300 corporate employees at the plant.
- Work in coordination with Plant GM - Personnel for various employee development and engagement activities covering all approx. 7000 on roll as well as contractual employees.
- Oversee preparation of an Annual Report summarizing progress on short and long range plans.
HR management:
- Driving HR and Recruitment related initiatives
- Employee development, engagement and training
- Policy implementations and improvisations
- Employee relations, life-cycle and management
- Performance management and improvement systems
- Employment and compliance to regulatory concerns and reporting
Skills and Qualifications: MBA-HR [full-time] from a reputed business school
Performance Management, Recruitment, Management Proficiency, Coordination, mentoring, implementing and improvisation policies, Process Improvement, Decision Making, Strategic Planning, Quality Management
- Overall experience of 17 - 20 years in HR functions having manned organizations with staff strength of over 1500 employees will be most ideally suited.
- Proven skills in business and financial management.
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse level of corporate staff.
- Excellent, proven interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and supervise a staff team.
- Effective problem - solving and mediation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to share skills and knowledge with others.
- Demonstrated ability to multi - task and work in a fast - paced office setting.
- Proven ability to cope with conflict, stress and crisis situations.
Provided: Family accommodation / staff residence within Plant premises by the company
Salary: 25 - 27 Lakhs per annum + up to 10% bonus
