Looking candidates for the position of - GM HR Operations:

PROFILE REQUIREMENT:

- Full-time MBA (or equivalent) from a tier I and tier II B-school in India preferably XLRI / TISS / MDI / SCHMRD / IMT. (2001-2005 Batch)

- 8 - 12 years professional work experience in HR with at least 4 years experience in ER / IR.

- HR professionals working in FMCG / Retail / Manufacturing / Healthcare.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

PURPOSE:

The position will report Head HR operations and the incumbent will be responsible for developing and implementing a business focused HR Strategy that is in line with overall MCC India Business plans.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

a. Lead the People Engagement Mandate for METRO. Partner with Business to implement effective people initiatives & interventions

b. Strategic development of the DC units by operationalizing a progressive, business focused employee relations strategy (ER Road Map) that meets the current and future needs of the organization.

c. Spearhead the New Store Expansion Mandate for METRO (Timely/ Right Quality Hiring , Training for NSOs)

d. Drive Employee life cycle HR processes(e.g. Recruitment, Employee Engagement, Performance Management, Progressions, Recognition etc. )

e. Drive Talent mapping and succession planning for critical roles in coordination with corporate talent management team.

f. Drive Capability Building Mandate (Functional / Leadership Development) for unit.

g. Analyse and interpret future Employee Relation trends and issues, as well as standards, regulations, and laws to understand their impact on the organisation and prepare and ring fence the organization from future risks.

h. Advise and develop DC HR managers to ensure positive ER climate at the DCs. Also ensure the organisation comply with central HR processes, labour regulations & laws.

i. Coach & Develop DC leadership teams on Key HR Process, Employee Relation Issues, Change Management, Grievances Handling, and Disciplinary action.

j. Institutionalising the processes & systems at the units to have effective control & compliance.
