General Manager – Electronic Security Sales - Mumbai
My Client an established player in Unified Communications Solutions is on the hunt for a General Manager – Electronic Security Sales to manage operations in Western India comprising of multiple branches.
The Role:
- The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5+ years experience in the Electronic Security Sales domain. The incumbent must be at ease in selling Security Products – Access Control, CCTV, Fire Detection, Perimeter Protection, Entrance Control, Intrusion Detection and Home Automation to Corporate clients in the Western region. The GM should be able to handle a team of 40 Sales and Service individuals.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for sales in the entire region, which may comprise one or more branches.
- Achieved agreed targets for the region.
- Be responsible for quantum growth of both direct and channel sales in the branch.
- Assist the sales team to provide high end technical solutions to large corporate.
- Expand companies business in the region by developing large accounts in various verticals and for increasing addressable market.
- Development of people and a succession plan.
Essential Skills:
- The candidate should be a B.E (Electronics and Communication) or B.E (IT) and a post graduation qualification in Sales / Marketing.
- Have an excellent understanding of the market and competition.
- High level of negotiation / presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Be able to motivate the team to achieve stretched targets.
- Be able to lead from the front by setting an example.
