Overview

This is a strategic leadership role, responsible for ensuring the delivery of ISS’s best practice Engineering platform across ISS’s IFS portfolio. The role involves developing and implementing portfolio programs across Engineering Operations, Critical Environment Management, & Sustainability with a key focus on operational risk management.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide strong and effective strategic leadership to the ISS IFS Account based teams on issues relating to Engineering and Operations.

2. Develop and implement a rolling 3 year business and operational strategy around the Engineering, Operations, Risk and Compliance.

3. Develop and Implement standard business operating mechanisms such as regular team meetings, strategic review forums, training conferences and regular analysis and reporting processes.

4. Manage the key client team representatives effectively to ensure that communication lines work efficiently and do not distract the ISS management teams from the effective and efficient operation of the business operating mechanisms.

5. Build strong working relationships with key client representatives and promote ISS’s Engineering and Operations platform.

6. Monitor market trends and changes to ensure that ISS provides industry best practice in the delivery of Engineering Operations services to the IFS Business.

7. Ensure that all IFS Account’s have an annual compliance / audit program in place to conduct audits across a representative sample of sites under management. Personally attend a minimum of 10 building audits annually in order to demonstrate team leadership and provide training.

8. Develop management plan for ISS India to ensure the prevention of risks associated with public liability, fire life safety, essential services , health and safety and Critical Environment Management

9. Actively participate in the Engineering Operations activities by attending required meetings and developing and implementing programs and procedures on a priority basis so as to support the EOS platform and strategy.

10. Support and promote ISS’s Incident Manager and the implementation of ISS’s standard Incident Management procedures to ensure a consistent approach is adopted across the region and that all relevant incidents are recorded via ISS’s incident reporting system.

11. Development of an Account Risk Management Program and Staff Training Plan.

12. Ensure each relevant property under management has a Services Failure Procedure in place and that it is robustly tested bi-annually.

13. Convene and chair the regular Hub risk management meetings. Ensure all relevant staff are aware of relevant OH&S Legislation and the Hub Risk Management Programs.

14. Manage the revenues and expenses in accordance with the approved budget and ISS guidelines.

15. Participate in the annual Engineering budget preparation process

16. Provide high level technical advice to client representative and the ISS facilities management and Engineering and Operations teams as required.
