Required a GM/DGM for a manufacturing plant part of a large industrial group to be located in Gujarat. The company believes in diversity and hence encourages professionals from all over India to apply.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the plants and company objectives.

2. Oversee the recruitment and selection process for plant employees. Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.

3. Union negotiations, disciplinary action conflict resolution

4. Manpower Planning, Organizational Development and Performance Management

5. Compensation and benefits programs for plant management and staff.

6. Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.

7. Coordinate training and development initiatives for plant employees.

8. Implement performance management systems to drive employee engagement and productivity.

9. The GM/DGM should have HR experience which carries significant responsibility for the performance, employee well-being, HR compliance, and overall success.

10. As a GM/DGM, this position involves supervising a team of employees in various departments, with added responsibility for HR functions.

11. Ensuring that the team understands that the organization's profits and achievements are reflected in all its operations and activities.

12. Contribute to training and development of the team

13. Effective liaison, support and assistance with the external interface

14. Responsibly uses resources and control expenses to meet budgetary targets.

Qualifications:

1. Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

2. Experience as an HR Manager/Sr manager in a manufacturing plant.

3. Strong leadership and communication skills.

4. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic plant environment.

5. Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus
