Our client is a profit making company of repute, based in Hyderabad. They are looking forHead Taxation. A chartered accountant with minimum 15 years of post qualification experience out of which last 5 years he/ she must head a taxation department. This position is responsible for the Company's tax compliance, tax planning and accounting for various taxes including direct and indirect taxes. The successful candidate will work with professionals in carrying out his or her responsibilities. Core Responsibilities: . Leading Taxation Department for the Group: - Liaison with government authorities - Tax planning and implementation of the same - Attending tax assessment Other Responsibilities: a. Dealing with all tax matters of the Group; b. Assisting in completing all ongoing tax assessments; c. Strategy for direct taxes and tax planning; d. Setting up and strengthening the systems and processes in Tax Department of the Group; e. Building a team of direct tax professionals; f. Guiding the existing team of indirect tax; g. Liaison with the Tax authorities at all levels; h. Representing the Group and appearing in litigation and court matters, if any; i. Assisting with general business support, analytical services, project management and other related services. j. Any other matters related to the Subject.
