Job Title - GM / AVP Sales (Iron Ore)


No of Position - 1

Location Based- Delhi (No Remote)

Reporting to MD / CEO

Industry Type - Metals & Mining Compensation

CTC (pa)- 40 Lacs Above

Job Overview:

- To generate Lead / Sales and Business Development in the Export division for Iron Ore.

- Head the Iron Ore Business Unit of the Group

- Formulate & implement the strategy of Sourcing, marketing & development of Iron Ore Export and Import Business in all firms.

- Responsible for directing, supporting, and overseeing all aspects of the company's procurement growth Strategy to increase marketing and profit.

- Significantly tap the market in China and export Iron-ore, Fines, Pellets, etc to steel mills & conduct the sales marketing of Iron-ore lumps Products in SE Asian, China mkt. Area of Expertise Required

- Export Sales in Iron Ore

- Sales and Marketing experience in commodities and capital markets for over 20 years spread across India, CIS, South East Asia, China, Middle East, Africa, Europe. Vast experience in handling large & strong teams with a P&L approach in a challenging environment, as well as managing contracts and large volumes of institutional clients in the international commodities markets.

- Manging Big Contact / Relationship Selling /New Business Opportunities

- Have travelled few countries/ Pitched buyers

- Rich Exposure to various aspects of the Mineral Industry (Iron ore,) starting from Mineral Legislatures, Mineral Exploration, Resource evaluation, Financial Modelling, due diligence, Mine Development, Production, Quality Control, and Environmental Management.

- Managing the bid process for MDO (Mine Development & Operation) and Mining projects

- Identification, quick evaluation, recommendation to management, and pursuit of Inorganic growth/Acquisition opportunities in the Mining Sector (International)

Skills / Qualification:

- Senior Management Professional leveraging nearly 16+ years' experience in Sales, Marketing and international Trading, Export/Import sales, Sourcing, Procurement & Logistics, and Business Development in Iron ore, Coal, Bulk Mineral, Metal, Iron and Steel Industry

- Knowledge of the Commodities Market. Experience in Trade Finance is highly preferable.

- Engineering Graduate is Preferred (Graduate in Minning additional) /Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad.
