We have requirement for a leading pharmaceutical company based at New Delhi.

JD BRIEF : GM- Accounts & Taxation

Location : Corporate Office, New Delhi

Qualification :

- Mandatory - Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India

- Preferred Additional qualification - CS/ ICWAI/MBA

Experience :

- 10-13 years of experience with a pharmaceutical company with multi plants, R&D Centers with a turnover of Rs 500 Crs or more.

- Well versed with SAP Function and MS Office.

- Should have strong knowledge of Accounts, Taxation, accounting standards, Companies Act and other relevant acts/rules

- Should have worked in listed organization

Age : 35-45 Years

Key Responsibilities :

- Capable of completing financial accounts in a company.

- Liaise with Statutory Auditors, Internal auditors, lawyers, consultants, statutory authorities etc. to handle compliances.

- Generating month P&L, balance sheet and related MIS to Accounts & Taxation.

- Ensuring timely preparation of quarterly/half yearly/annual results as per SEBI guidelines

- Ensuring timely filing of all type of tax returns, deduction and deposit of taxes

- Partner with business leaders to develop business plans, budgets & monitor and drive corrective measures to ensure that business plan are achieved & exceeded.

- Build in systems to bring in financial discipline and accountability through financial vigilance and MIS Systems to protect the interest of the stake holder.

- Review existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) around Finance and Business Processes.

- Assist the company in developing an authorization matrix for approvals.

- Finalize hierarchies of reporting structures in accounts and finance.

- Continuous application of cutting financial models, tools and techniques to support the edge agenda of the company .

- Handling the statutory / legal / Financial Control Matters, including issues relating to Corporate / Direct and indirect tax laws with awareness to regulatory norms.

- Insights into why the profits are less / more than competitors

Functional Competencies :

- Preparation of fund flow statements and other relevant documents required for working capital and term loan borrowings of corporate and non-corporate clients.

- Financial Analysis and Interpretation

- Treasury management including resource planning and fund mobilization through innovative financing methods

- Handling the statutory / legal / Financial Control Matters, including issues relating to Corporate / Direct and indirect tax laws with awareness to regulatory norms

- Handling Foreign Exchange Transactions

- Asset Management with proper insurance coverage and claims

- Formation & registration of companies and advisory services for drafting memorandum and articles of association, prospectus, organizing board meetings, general and extra-ordinary general meetings, drafting minutes of the meetings, complying with provisions of companies act, 1956 and other applicable statutory laws and rules & regulations for day-to- day affairs of the corporate clients.

- Optimum utilization of resources and cost conscious management system in all respects

- Statutory / Internet / Tax / Management Audit of manufacturing and consulting companies public and private sector banks in accordance with the auditing standards generally accepted in India which requires to plan and perform the audit to obtain reasonable assurance about whether to financial statements are free from material mis-statement.
