Responsibilities:

- Know the customer: Deeply understand customer behaviour, develop new customer insights

- Know the market and trend forecasts: Stay on top of trends in an ever-changing landscape, find opportunities and prioritize based on selection, gaps, size, internal capabilities, etc. Optimise for monthly content and trend planning.

- Influence the leadership: Convert strategies into action by liaising with cross-functional leadership and drive the changes required

- Identify product differentiation based on consumer needs and journey funnel

- Own key merchandising channels & metrics

- Get all Merch requirements planned & prioritised with Product, Creative, Business Intelligence &Category teams

- Define and co-own the customer acquisition and category growth roadmap

- Ability to drive adoption & scale up businesses via merchandising

- Design merchandising constructs and scale them in both automated and manual models

- Manage in store promotions along with brands - make brands partners in customer communication

- Working with in-house/ external designers to produce materials of visual impact and within brand guidelines

- Build new monetization channels & own metrics for them

- Liaise with external stakeholders on our different monetization programs

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or other relevant fields. MBA from Tier-1 college would be highly desirable.

- A minimum of 2-3 years- experience in a Category Management/BD/Consulting role. Ecommerce experience is a definite plus.

- Demonstrated proficiency in Merchandising, Monetization, designing marketing campaigns with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts

- This position requires strong analytical, organizational, decision making, and presentation skills.

- Strong interpersonal skills are also essential to effectively interact with all the teams, areas and levels of business.

- Capability to multitask in a fast paced environment

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
