Responsibilities:
Overall:
- This person will be the Central SPOC for all Private Label project's activity, liaising with all relevant Categories & other teams & delivering on Top line & Bottom line targets
- Lead Private Label strategies, merchandising and procurement activities to develop an aggressively growing social commerce business
- Drive sales through program development, branding, product mix, promotions, special buys and vendor relationship management
- Responsible for program's P&L
Product Development:
- Analyse market & competitor trends, category trends to help Category teams launch
- Private Label products best suited to consumer needs
- Hands on experience in managing Ecommerce/Social Commerce Categories
Sourcing:
- Sourcing knowledge of relevant supplier base to consult/aid Category teams to onboard products at right price
- Help BD & Category teams create and manage supplier relations to develop long term, reliable & sustainable business
- Help oversee building a strong supplier/vendor base that would stay relevant at every stage of business
- Position him/herself to be the SPOC for all buying needs of Private Label Program
Business Development:
- Plan right product assortment that stays relevant to consumers across regions
- Work closely with Category & BD teams to constantly benchmark on product range & pricing strategies to gain consumer mindshare
