Global Trading & MIS Role - BFSI

Global Trading & MIS (Only for Omani Candidates)

- Graduate / Post Graduate with an experience of atleast 15 years of banking experience in global trade and related business having worked in all areas including Exports, Imports, Documentary Collections and Trade Financing. Additionally, experience of atleast 3 years as a team leader in any / all of the above areas is a must.

- Possession of professional qualification viz., Certificate in Trade Finance Compliance (CTFC) would be an added advantage. Other certifications such as Certified Documentary Credit Specialist (CDCS) / Certified Trade Finance Professional (CTFP) / Certificate in International Trade and finance (CITF) / Qualified Trade Finance Specialist (QTFS) are also preferable

Job Role:

- Responsible for ensuring the bank's internal policies, procedure, guidelines, instructions etc., relating to Global Trade Services (GTS) are implemented in strict compliance in the day to day functioning of the department across all products and services

- Evaluation of compliance/risk/operational controls pertaining to GTS on a regular basis to ensure efficacy and augmentation thereof

- Post transaction monitoring to identify non-conformity related issues and take corrective measures including procedural revamp

- Impart ongoing training and awareness to staff at GTS and identified internal stakeholders on internal control mechanisms and associated requirements

- Ensure that the transactions involving high risk markets / dual use goods etc., are acceptable and if not, seek necessary approval of Compliance department

- Provide ideas to supervisor(s) on probable implementation of best practice and automation of operational controls on a continuous basis

- Data analysis and periodical MIS pertaining to transaction processing, internal controls and post transaction monitoring on a periodical basis to the management and percolation thereof to the respective operating units in GTS

- Assistance in timely closure of audit observations / recommendations, if any pertaining to internal control and related areas
