One of client who is a MNC into Pharma & Healthcare space is looking out for Project Manager for their Global Sourcing (Indirect purchase).

Division: Global Sourcing, Global Purchasing Services

Reports to: Associate Director, Pacific, Asia, Africa & Middle East

Experience: 8-10 years

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:

- The primary objectives and functions of Global Purchasing Services is to economically and efficiently purchase goods and services. The Project Manager works closely with regional affiliates and offices in Pacific, Asia, Africa & Middle East (ie. PAA Region), at levels up to and including division heads and officers in a technical and/or specialist role.

EDUCATION :

Bachelors Degree: Engineering, Science, Business, or Financial Degrees

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Responsible for determining major spend categories, establishing priorities and a course of actions to achieve global sourcing objectives. This is accomplished by applying analytical techniques to market trend and research findings, the integration of information and synthesized results, and by evaluating the quality of the information and drawing inferences based on results.

2. Responsible for strategic sourcing, negotiating, contracting, and purchasing the major and/or critical items used in operations other than direct/inventory materials in PAA region.

3. Support divisions in all aspects of pricing, sourcing, negotiating and contracting.

4. Identify, develop, and implement improved and standardized buying practices to ensure adequacy of supply chain.

5. Seek innovative solutions for the procurement process, develop action plans and participate in cross-functional, cross-divisional teams.

6. Ensure compliance and assist affiliates in compliance with regulatory agencies (including but not limited to FDA) and with Corporate Policies and Procedures.

ACCOUNTABILITY :

- The Project Manager, in conjunction with the Associate Director, PAA Region, Global Sourcing, will have the responsibility to employ innovative methods to improve overall financial performance including unit price, total cost, supplier management, and customer satisfaction in PAA region.
