Job Title : Assistant Manager, Experience - 4 Year To 8 Year

Role Description :

HCL is seeking for bright and enthusiastic individuals to strengthen the Global Pre Sales team of Infrastructure Services and provide pre sales solution capability to new and existing customers globally. The individual will be a part of Pre Sales function and be responsible for responding to RFP/RFIs, design solutions to meet customer requirements, conduct presentations and prepare business case.

The role requires ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders of large global enterprises, translating business requirements into solutions covering Modern Workplace, End User Computing Services is required. You must be comfortable working alongside the Sales team, travel globally supporting them in client presentations, conducting requirements analysis, stakeholder management, solution design, responding to RFP/RFIs and solution presentations.

At HCL you would be working with a team of highly motivated, energetic professionals involved in managing business in the Infrastructure Services arena. The career growth of selected candidates in pre-sales function will include but not limited to strategic Sales & Account Management, Solution structuring, Domain evangelize, Strategy formulation etc. leading to Senior Leadership at HCL

Responsibilities :

- Will work with large global enterprise to assess the IT environment and provide solutions / consulting services to bring optimizations into the IT Landscape during RFP/RFI scenarios

- Work as a Pre Sales Lead for Business Productivity Services which includes End User Computing Services like Service Desk, Onsite Support, Client Engineering, Desktop Virtualization, Messaging & Collaboration Service

- Prepare solution response, customer presentations based on client needs as part of RFP process

- End to end ownership of Solution design covering operations sizing, technical bill of material and commercials

- Business case and data analysis of current costs and future costs.

- Knowledge of latest technology trends related to End User Computing, cloud, IT operations.

Participation in large bids through :

- Orchestrating effective bid responses

- Understanding the key drivers of the opportunity and recommending innovation in engagement models, pricing models

- Liaising with multiple stakeholders to create a winning proposition

- Anchoring awareness and due diligence workshops

- Work at onshore assessments, workshops, consulting assignments as part of a larger team.

- Managing customer visits aligning right proposition and members to make effective presentation and get connected with customer to get more insights to identify and mine relevant business opportunities

- Performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications :

- BE/B.Tech (IT/CS/EE/ECE)

- MBA/PGDM from premier B-School

Experience :

- Minimum 1- 4 Years of Domain/Industry Experience preferably in pre-sales role

- Pre Sales Experience with Global customers preferred or with Large Indian Enterprises.

- Experience in Infra operations in End User Computing, Service Desk, Desktop Virtualization will be looked at positively

- Good oral communication and presentation skills will be viewed positively

Knowledge & Skills :

Technical :

- Skills in presales, product management or solution selling.

- Basic understanding and appreciation of End User Computing like Service Desk, Onsite Support, Desktop Engineering ( Imaging, Software Distribution and Application Packaging Services ), Infrastructure Applications like Active Directory, Citrix, File and Print Services, Messaging and Collaboration Services

- Good understanding of Desktop Virtualization Solutions like VDI, Application Virtualization etc.

- Good understanding of various cloud platforms in industry such as Office 365, Google Apps, Amazon Workplace

- Good understanding of Messaging and Collaboration Services ( Exchange, Lync, SharePoint)

- Should be able to architect and size the End User Computing Solutions to meet different client requirements
