Supply of materials

- Ensure material availability as per requirements placed by GSC. Each buyer to ensure that 95% of the materials required are delivered in time.

- Ensure that 99% of the materials committed are delivered on time.

- Timely servicing of existing Excipients and few APIs for new products (Line Extension)

Sourcing of Excipients

- To develop sources of Excipients as demanded by PDL.

Cost effective procurement

- To ensure the above by way of effective negotiations, long term contracts, stocking (strategy based) by analyzing the market conditions so as to bring about savings to the organizations.

Quality

- To ensure procurement of materials meeting all the quality parameters laid down by the Organization with respect to vendor qualification, specifications of materials, vendor audits

Inventory

- Ensuring material inventory as per the norms laid down

Vendor Relationship management

- Monitor key suppliers and develop respectful relationships with key supplier executives that are demanding yet fair as a customer to have a win-win relationship

De-risking

- For strategic materials, availability to be ensured by way of alternate vendor development

Integrity:

- Act with integrity and in accordance with internal policies, procedures and all govt regulations and laws.
