What we are looking for:

- We are looking for a Legal professional to head our Legal Team and join our senior management team to oversee all legal matters of the company and its subsidiaries.

- Have hands on experience in drafting & reviewing contracts specific to IT industry such as NDA, MSA, Share Purchase Agreements, Software Purchase and Subscription Agreements, End User License Agreements, Annual Maintenance Contracts, Real Estate Lease Agreements, Vendor contracts and other legal documents incidental to the business.

- You will be responsible for developing and implementing legal strategies, policies, and procedures that align with our vision, mission, and values and be able to handle, strategize on International & Domestic Litigation.

- You will also provide legal advice and guidance to the CEO, CFO, CDO and other business units on various topics, such as contracts, compliance, intellectual property, data protection, employment, litigation, and risk management.

- You will lead and manage a team of legal professionals and external counsel and ensure that the company adheres to the highest standards of legal excellence and ethics.

What you will do:

- Develop and execute the legal strategy and vision for the company, in collaboration with the senior leadership team.

- Provide proactive and pragmatic legal advice and support to the business on a wide range of legal issues, such as corporate governance, commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, licensing, regulatory compliance, intellectual property, data privacy, employment, dispute resolution and litigation (International & Domestic).

- Negotiate, draft, review, and manage contracts and agreements with various stakeholders, such as customers, partners, vendors, and regulators.

- Monitor and anticipate changes in the legal and regulatory environment that may affect the company and advise on the implications and actions required.

- Manage and mitigate legal risks and exposures, and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies.

- Represent and defend the company in legal disputes and proceedings, and liaise with external counsel as needed, in countries across the globe.

- Build and lead a high-performing legal team, and foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

- Manage the legal budget and resources and optimize the use of external counsel(s).

What you will need:

- A law degree from a reputable institution, and a license to practice law. Should be able to understand technical nuances of IT Industry to understand the scope of services and deliverables, service level penalties etc.

- At least 25+ years of relevant legal experience in the IT, ITES sector.

- Strong knowledge and understanding of the legal and regulatory landscape of the IT/ITES industry, both locally and globally.

- Excellent legal, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to provide sound and practical legal advice.

- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

- Proven leadership, management, and organizational skills, and the ability to lead and motivate a team of legal professionals, effectively managing stress.

- Strategic, business-oriented, and innovative mindset, and the ability to align legal objectives with the company's vision, mission, and values.
