Conducts restaurant (both Company and Franchise), financial and operational audits of BKC organization. Performs audits of business systems, policies, procedures and internal controls. Enhances effectiveness, efficiency and economical use of resources. Acts as the supervisor of the audit or is a team member for larger, more complex audits. Responsibilities include all phases of the audit - planning, fieldwork, reporting and follow-up. Participates in special projects requested by management.

- Peform audit planning including understanding process/business unit, conducting risk assessment and developing audit program. Also, submit planning for review and clearing comments.

- Perform fieldwork including testwork per audit program, other analyses and benchmarking. Fieldwork is also submitted for review and comments are cleared.

- Draft audit reporting including description of findings, which are defined as control weaknesses or inefficiencies, and related recommendations. Audit report is reviewed and revised by Manager, Director and Sr. Director.

- Conduct follow-up audit including obtaining an understanding of implementation or action plan for initial audit recommendations.

- Participate in special projects requested by management.

Education:

- Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting. Master's Degree or MBA a plus. CPA , CIA and/or CISA preferred.

Requirements:

- Must have 3 to 7 years of Internal Audit with IT experience to qualify for this role.

- Able to assess effectiveness of accounting and operational processes and controls, both from a business process and IT perspective.

- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.

- General understanding of Microsoft Access, ACL and/or SAP preferred.

- Advanced understanding of financial statements.

- Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred
