Job Description of Global HR Head - Steel & Coal Trading House

Company profile :

- Global Metal Trading House, with Head Office at Marina Bay Financial Centre, Singapore and Branch Offices in Birmingham, New Delhi, Gurgaon and Sao Paulo, with trading operations in more than 45 Countries across 5 Continents. The company is in the process of opening offices in USA, China and Australia as well. Current Turnover USD 40 Million per annum.

Role Description :

Recruitment : Managing the complete recruitment process of planning human resource requirements in consultation with HODs of different functional & operational areas & conducting selection interviews.

On boarding and inducting new joinees : Processing offer letter, coordinating for background verification, medical check-up, joining formalities, issuance of offer letters, rolling out induction, Confirmation letters etc.

Employee Engagement and employee relations : Arranging Rewards & Recognition function to facilitate the achievers & motivate the achievers. Proactively and with empathy handle all employee relations and grievances

Performance Management System : Provides advice and counsel on performance management issues. Partners with the associate, managers to address performance gaps and facilitates discussions/ process to assess appropriate action.

Training & Development : To identify training needs for each level & ensure that the team undergoes the required Target modules. Implementing training programs and driving the training programs in the Unit

Payroll : Taking care of the entire payroll of the Unit

Planning and Organizing : Establishing the HR Policy for Global Offices of the Company.Process designing for better coordination amongst teams and establishing Hierarchy across Teams/Organization. Prepare Manpower Budgets and plans.

Role Requirements :

- 10+ of relevant work experience

- MBA/PGDM with HR specialisation

- Exceptional Communication and Persuasive Skills.

- Understanding of Team Dynamics and how to keep a positive, healthy working environment.

- Understanding Importance of Non-monetary needs/rewards of the Members.

- Knows the Motivation Tactics and how to promote team spirit.

- Know-how of hiring speedily and qualitatively at the same time in a rapidly Scaling up company.

- Pleasing Personality as will be the Global Talent Head and Face of the Organization in front of both Potential Candidates and existing Team Members, globally.

Location : DLF Cyber City, Gurgaon

- Must be working with Service Industry

- Must have an experience of working with multiple countries in present or past assignments
