The focus areas would include the following:

- Formulation of strategy and policy.

- Run the institution of developing leaders

- Design the futuristic L&D initiatives for the different businesses.

- Build and strengthen alliances with Indian and global partners in the field executive education.

- Manage the Team in terms of induction performance succession and career plans coaching and mentoring.

The person should be ahead of the curve in L&D concepts,trends.

Knowledge of financial management shall be desired.
