A leading Shared Services / Captive KPO organization based in Ahmedabad, is looking for a Global Head-Data Quality, for the Global Centre of Excellence, in Ahmedabad. Briefly, the role will encompass the following - - This role is accountable for the facilitation process of acquiring the appropriate data quality logic to ensure the organization truly understands and is proactively measuring the improving data quality; - In addition, he/she will manage the process for reaching out to each stakeholder, communicating, and validating the stakeholder interests and ultimately planning the data quality rules workshops, which are workshops designed for the affiliated stakeholders to contribute views and perspectives on the logic, purpose, KPIs and use of each given data element in the scope of a business term; - Through these repetitive activities the Data Quality Lead will establish mechanisms to improve how each data community measures and improve the overall health of its organizational data sets; - Designing & implementing data quality scorecards and algorithmic data cleansing wherever possible to systematically improve the overall health of data; - Identifying and understanding where manual processes are causing degraded data quality, and work hand in hand with the data governance lead to remediate; - Driving data quality processes / approaches, including population and usage of the enterprise business glossary and business term inventory for both business and technical resources; - Driving master data management practices, including the creation and usage of sanctioned master data, and the enterprise reference data master & hierarchy management assets; - Leading and managing indirectly a team of professionals as well as influencing key stakeholders across the organization; - Providing leadership and project sponsorship for sanctioned data improvement projects; - Develop and deliver enterprise-wide educational programs to increase the organization's maturity in data management, governance, architecture, and analytics; - Identifying critical data elements through a process that can range from between 1 and 5 stakeholders at any given point of the lifecycle and may involve non-technical business leaders and highly technical data stewards. - Conducting Data Community Stakeholder Analyses (i.e. finding the right individuals within the organization that need to engage in data activities and projects); - Facilitating data quality workshops;
