- To effectively drive cost awareness in the organisation, and to effectively improve the overall GSC costs and productivity levels through a focus on simplicity
- To ensure strong financial governance across the GSC sites
- To collect and report cost, FTE and volume data for the GSC, providing sufficient financial transparency to the centre.
- To guide the centre on overall productivity by process both onshore and offshore
- To manage and follow up on global tax and legal issues for the GSC
Responsibilities
Individual
- Monthly reporting financials / FTE
- Run quarterly GSC ROFO process
- Customer billing (GBU only to date)
- Ensure statutory and audit compliance
- Global governance of finance in the GSC
- Continual improvement of financial processes
- Benchmarking of the process cost / productivity performance
Shared
- Manage overall financial transparency and accuracy through the global finance teams
Parameters for success
- Improved cost and productivity in the GSC
- Accuracy and timeliness of financial data and projections
- Strength of global financial governance framework
- Level of financial transparency achieved both internally and externally
Experience-
- 10-12 years experience in finance and accounting (preferably in BPO industry)
- Understanding of the shared services industry (preferably from a captive)
