We have an opening with one of our client for the position of : Global Category Manager - Consumer care industry
Location : Mumbai
Job Description :
Strategic:
1. Create 8+ year strategic plans for core brands across globe
2. Identify new business opportunities and entry strategies for new brands in the Category.
3. Support Head Marketing to create Strategic Business Plans.
Operational (ongoing) :
1. Create annual marketing plans.
2. Create/ Deploy suitable advertising and below the line promotions.
3. Manage external agencies ( Advtg./PR/DM) to maximize creative output and effectiveness of value spend.
4. Use Market Research effectively to gain deep consumer insight.
5. Support the Sales Organization with promotional programs and tools to build Superior Customer Service.
6. Support Marketing in creating annual Marketing plans.
Financial :
1. Deliver top-line (revenue) targets.
2. Maximize Price-value offering to consumers while achieving profit targets.
Organization:
Support the Marketing and Sales team in building Capability.
Requirement :
Education : Graduate + MBA preferred.
Experience :
- 8+ years plus Sales and Marketing (min 6 years marketing) experience in FMCG or Durables MNC Companies
- Currently working as Category /Product Manager for Condom / Contraceptive products / OTC etc
