POSITION SUMMARY : - This position ensures proper posting and overall management of bank related transactions, factoring and accounts receivable (both IC and 3rd party). - Also responsible for proper posting of regulatory fees and payments together with proper classification (opex and capex) and various analysis based on type of product they relate to. OVERALL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES : 1. Bank accounting/Payments/factoring : - Posting of sales of receivables under factoring, HSBC trust account, received payment booking, clearing, offsetting with customers under factoring, cooperation with HSBC bank, preparing data for HQ - Processing of approved payment proposals in SAP check to supporting documents, upload to Citidirect, - Manual payment orders in Citibank accounting for payments regulatory - Bank statements posting - Preparation and provision of proof of payment where required - Bank movement file for controlling dept. cash movement details for cash flow analysis 2. Accounts receivable : - Raising and posting of invoices for inter-company recharges and services (proper VAT assessment based type of transaction) - Raising and posting of invoices for recharges to third parties (proper VAT assessment based on contracts for proper invoicing) - Communication with 3rd parties regarding the collection and reminders - Late payments handling - Communication with 3rd party customers and IC - offsetting invoices, payables and CNs - Raising and posting of CNs to customers based business input, - Posting of accruals for Credit notes - Posting of bad debt allowance and monitoring based on collection of receivables - Filing of all issued invoices in PDF on shared drive 3. Regulatory fees payments and posting : - Booking of all regulatory fees for molecules as direct posting proper classification CAPEX x OPEX - Monitoring pro product launch - Classification of fees based on types of goods IH, IL, VM - Filing of supporting documents (RA emails with documents for payments) in folder on share drive - Regulatory costs analysis per type of product for segment income statement 4. Others : - Posting of interest expenses and loan booking - Ad hoc booking of journals, customer corrections, payment corrections 5. Closing operations & audit : - Bank and HSBC GL accounts reconciliation - Supporting data for reporting package regarding cash balances and payments - Support in ad-hoc closing transaction - Translation of foreign currency balances for bank and receivable GL accounts and posting of related currency gains/losses - Trade and other receivables GL accounts reconciliation - Preparation of inter-company balance report for monthly confirmation and circulation to other entities, differences investigation and proper treatment 6. Master data : - Preparing support documentation for creation of new customers master data - Verification of customer data on vies and CZ register including bank details KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES : Education : (degree / diploma): University degree in accounting Experience : - 4 to 6 years of relevant accounting experience - Experience with VAT on various types of transactions in EU - Experience with factoring and factoring accounting under IFRS Knowledge & Skills (Functional / Technical) : - Precise, accurate and oriented to detail, well organized and structured - Knowledge to VAT concepts and principles in EU - Knowledge of factoring principles with and without recourse - Strong analytical skills - Ability to work independently as well as good team player - Proactive in issue solving - Strong communication skills - SAP/ERP experience - Solid knowledge of spoken and written English - PC skills ; excel - Leadership / Managerial Attributes - Pleasing personality, assertive profile with good inter-personal skills and hands on approach
