Designation: Regional Hospital Sales Manager - North & West Location: Delhi NCR or Mumbai Reports to: Head - Expert Sales & Marketing Department : Expert/Commercial The role has the following deliverables: 1. Responsible for Hospital business in North & West regions. 2. Scan the healthcare environment for new business opportunities for hospital consumed GSKCH brands. Identify opportunities in existing markets/ new markets by evaluating risks, formulating action plans, implementing key strategies & monitoring effective deployment in order to enhance GSKCH's productivity in hospitals. Continuously strive for the achievement of stretch targets set for the segment 3. To support Head Expert Sales & Marketing Manager in rolling out key marketing interventions targeted at HCPs and other key stakeholders in the Hospital environment 4. Create a distribution structure aligned to the business needs of the segment 5. Implement strategy for new (and existing) market and business opportunities: - Own and drive clinical marketing and education programs with clearly defined outcomes - i.e. Practice change, new products introduction, increased penetration, and competitive conversions - Establish and maintain contact with key opinion leaders / other stakeholders in Institutions through direct contact programs. Conduct external educational and awareness programs to build sustainable long term customer loyalty and equity for GSK - Generate, maintain and utilize customer database for promotional use - Establish effective sales forecasting system and outline the distribution network ideal to service the demand generated - Constantly identify new business opportunities and markets with better realization and revenue scope - Undertake timely action in order to further strengthen the clinical sales network of the organization 6. Monitor and report: - Monitor and supervise all activities of ASM / Sales executives (e.g. ensure orders are delivered on time etc); ensure timely reporting of sales figures, target achievement and other related MIS (e.g. inventory sales orders, customer database, must-call list status etc), report deviations if any in performance - Monitor adherence to commercial/ compliance guidelines and reporting guidelines as prescribed by the company - report discrepancies if any to the relevant authority - Continuously track competitor activity and the industry environment for developing trends and practices - Track customer feedback on product quality and escalate concerns to appropriate GSKCH authorities 7. Liaison: - Liaise internally (sales team) and externally (with opinion makers) to obtain the required resources and ensure their utilization in order to achieve organizational goals 8. People Management: - Facilitate change management within the organization - develop competencies of Manager's to continuously track external environment and find innovative ways to grow the market - Responsible for communicating with team and ensuring that the organizational goals are well understood - Help the business attract, train and retain talent in own region; ensure high motivation and enthusiasm level of team members - Ensure objective performance evaluation and management of team; establish a culture of constructive feedback and continuous improvement thereby developing and leading a group of energized and aggressive clinical sales force Education & Experience: Science or Pharma graduate/PG with 15 - 17 years of relevant experience in an MNC Pharma organization.
