Gladwin Analytics - Chief Investment Officer

ROLE SUMMARY :

- The Chief Investment Officer is responsible for the overall investment performance and the management of the investment activities of the company ensuring it to be a robust means of achieving our clients risk adjusted expectations of performance. This is inclusive of the portfolios managed on behalf of the company.

- CIO manages the risk profile of all the portfolios in accordance with the written investment policy statement inherent with all our discretionary and advisory portfolios.

- Working with the CEO and BODs and Independent Consultants, the CIO reviews and updates the investment process, develops, recommends, implements and monitors the policies, strategies, and initiatives of the investment programs.

- Working with the CEO, the CIO assists in the growth and profitability of the investment business through the identification of product and improvements to processes.

- Working through the direct reports, the CIO oversees key aspects of the investment process including overall asset allocation, portfolio rebalancing, manager selection, risk management, portfolio compliance and staffing.

- The CIO is also a member of the organization's senior leadership team that oversees the strategic direction of the company's investments.

- The CIO is responsible for the research direction of the company.

- The CIO is responsible for the training and increasing the internal knowledge base of the company's investment activities.

- The CIO serves as an organizational ambassador and liaison to internal and external constituencies on investment related areas.

QUALIFICATIONS :

To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :

- A Masters Degree from any accredited institutions in Business Administration, Economics or Finance is sorted. Complemented by a PhD in Finance or Economics is a big plus but not mandatory.

- 20 years of relevant investment experience demonstrated by success in managing large multi-asset class portfolios as a CIO or Senior Member of an investment team of the business.

- In depth knowledge of various investment concepts including risk management and compliance, products, styles and asset classes including alternative investments.

- Solid leadership experience in managing investment professionals.
