Ability to be an end to end extended CSR team for our client Role Designation: Manager / Assistant Manager, CSR Monitoring and Evaluation Reporting to: Give Grants functions as an extended CSR team for a large Indian listed firm. This role will be reporting to the CSR lead of this team. Location: This is a work from office role, based in Mumbai. The role will need extensive travel across India to visit project sites and interact with non profit partners. Responsibilities 1. Evaluate CSR proposals from non-profits and social enterprises, in line with the CSR strategy of the firm and by applying the relevant impact frameworks 2. Define impact metrics and reporting requirements, and work with the implementation partners to implement the same 3. Engage with the project teams through the entire project lifecycle for project monitoring, status report and risk management 4. Engage actively with all stakeholders internally and externally 5. Ensure CSR and financial compliance. Engage with auditors and compliance teams through the year. 6. Manage project budgets, disbursements and financial utilization tracking 7. Support employee engagement and brand engagement initiatives 8. Support the CSR head in defining the CSR strategy and drive decision making with the CSR committee Profile 1. An entrepreneurial mindset, with a very high bias for action. Executes effectively and efficiently, with natural comfort to be hands-on and with the willingness to jump in and do what is needed. 2. 7+ years of professional experience, including at least 3 years of prior CSR or social sector experience. 3. Prior experience in business consulting firms, CSR consulting firms, NGOs, social enterprises would be an added advantage 4. Strong verbal and written communication skills 5. Expert level comfort with data analysis, data visualization, project management and presentation tools 6. Comfortable with a target driven, performance driven environment that can often demand stretch hours 7. Comfortable in engaging with senior executives and leadership teams
