- Product manager in Giant Eagle's Customer Experience organization plays a meaningful role in helping to translate and support a customer-first vision into a tangible product roadmap for execution.

He/she works cross-functionally to solve important problems across the customer journey (Product Discovery, Purchase, Loyalty, and Fulfillment) translating into a unified and delightful experience for our customers.

- Given the holistic nature of the digital strategy and product group, the product manager will bring a go-getter mindset, the ability to creatively problem solve, and a heightened level of empathy for customers and colleagues. This is your chance to take the lead, shape a strategy, and work with like-minded team of engineers and designers to bring it to life. Primary Job Responsibilities :

1. Own a discrete product portfolio and actively build, manage, and groom product backlog in support of business and customer imperatives

2. Develop and articulate the product strategy, charter and OKRs for product portfolio

3. Analyze proposed solutions and customer feedback to make recommendations and approve solutions to ensure product requirements meet current needs and provide flexibility for future business priorities

4. Coordinate implementation of the digital strategy and product big rocks with dependencies across multiple functions and business units

5. Play critical role in developing, launching, and scaling customer-facing solutions

6. Identify dependencies across initiatives and gaps within requirements; fill those gaps through analysis and proactive requirements building

7. Work collaboratively across a matrixed organization to coordinate initiative development and implementation

8. Drive transparency around initiative timelines and ensure requirements are met in a timely manner, within budget, and with high quality

9. Proactively manage all initiative risks ensuring they are quickly identified, communicated, and mitigated

10. Act as the internal and external champion for the product. Communicate the value proposition and benefits of the product to internal teams, customers, and other stakeholders.

11. Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create a positive and user-friendly experience. Ensure that the product design aligns with user needs and expectations.

12. Envisage to possess a combination of strategic thinking, impressive communication skills, analytical abilities, and a deep understanding of both the market and the product itself.

Education : Bachelor's degree (preferably in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field). MBA or advanced degree preferred

Experience Required : 3-7 years

Competencies Required : Customer-centric mindset | Metrics Definition | AB Testing | Release Management |Stakeholder communication

Experience Desired :

1. Prior experience in retail or ecommerce product management or business consulting

2. Prior experience in Web/Mobile products

3. Prior experience in using analytical tools like Google Analytics or Amplitude

4. Prior experience in B2C businesses

5. Prior experience in agile & lean product development environments

6. Prior experience in Atlassian suite of products
