Job description :

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Planning day-to-day activities, production schedules, execution & implementation of man/material management plans.

- Ensure manpower productivity numbers man hours / machine and batch cycle time

- Compliance to laid standard of the cGMP - Current Good Manufacturing Practices.

- Aggressively drive a culture to ensure to DATA INTEGRITY on the shop floor and in day to day practices.

- Co-ordination of installation, qualification and validation activities as per Plan.

- Review of SOP , master documents of production and batch documents, etc.

- Investigate and take appropriate action in case of any process deviation, non-compliance, market complaints, product failure, product recall.

- Co-ordination with engineering for effective implementation of Engineering systems for preventive maintenance and achieve higher MTBF and lower MTTR for critical machines.

- People management (responsibility for leading, motivating, training and developing the subordinates).

- Set goals for the team, monitor performance and provide constructive feedback for continuous improved performance. Identify the training needs of the team and ensure the fulfillment.

- Internal and external co-ordination F&D projects for new products and technical transfer of existing products from other locations.

- Resolve formulation as well as equipment troubleshooting issues quickly to maintain productivity goals

- Ensuring that documentation is maintained as per GMP and other quality standards updated by the organization.

- Ensuring the capacity utilization of all equipment's in Production areas.

- Proposing & Implementing Product Improvement & Operational Efficiency improvement measures.

- Organisation of daily tasks for Formulation team, run meetings and allocate work

Desired Candidate Profile :

- Bachelors/ Masters in Pharmacy /Management in operations .

- 10-15 years' experience of leading the Production Department

- Experience in OSD, F&D of OSD, effervescent products.

- The candidate must have a systematic approach to solving problems.

- An organized professional with the ability to manage time and people to deliver expected results

- A detail-oriented candidate with the ability to manage information several tasks while prioritizing for achievement within deadlines.

- Should be familiar with MS Office - Word, Excel and Power point.

- Proficient with the usage of internet as a tool to find necessary & useful information.

- Be willing for immediate appointment, if selected .
