Job Description :

The solution design consultant (tech team) is a highly critical, specialized and fast growing position within GEP. Key job duties include :

- The primary responsibility is to understand a prospective client's current state and develop industry and client specific relevant technology solutions to help drive proactive consultative selling

- For large sized prospective initiatives, the solution consultant will play a key role in supporting the on-site sales teams in assessing industry specific challenges faced by procurement and designing a ground up business case by leveraging GEP's procurement software

- Create PPT based business case proposals and other sales collateral with a marketing eye

- Participate in preliminary sales discussions to understand client requirements to assess gaps and work directly with GEP's top management including VPs / C-level executives to prepare and finalize the technology value solution - business benefits

The end-to-end solution design / proposal development cycle includes the following stages :

- Summarizing client's requirements to GEP executives

- Support strategy discussions

- Understand client's requirements / needs and design a winning strategy / business case

- Supporting response creation for key proposals

- Designing a commercial model that includes pricing, margin and value propositions.

- Presenting solutions to the top management in a convincing way and drive consensus on the final solution

- Collaborate with global consulting and technology teams as required

- Work on knowledge management initiatives such as white papers and collaterals.

Designation : Senior Consultant

Location : Navi Mumbai (Airoli)

Timing : 2 PM to 11 PM

Experience :

- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience designing technology solutions complete with financial analytics and business case development

- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal (Absolute Must)

- Strong analytical skills (Must)

- Very strong Microsoft PowerPoint and excel skills (Must)

- Understanding of procurement software and /or services (preferred)

- MBA from a premium B-Schools such as IIMs, ISB, NITIE (preferred)
