Operations Manager - Accounts Payable

Description :

An experienced Financial professional who possesses excellent knowledge about the various financial modules and its implications on decision making processes. Having extensive knowledge about the subject matter expertise on driving the process improvements.

Responsibilities :

- Oversee the team performance

- Initiate and ensure smooth transitioning process

- Setup policies and procedures

- Drive meetings with internal team members and stakeholders on a regular basis

- Educate Team Leads on industry best practices

- Ensure all SLAs are met

- Provide category knowledge on various requests

- Optimize processes and drive towards continuous improvement

- Ensure continuity of services by maintaining supplier and contract data base

- Address escalations and provide solutions

- Should be comfortable working from 6 PM to 3 AM

Competencies / Skills :

- Strong industry experience and category SME

- In-depth knowledge of procurement and other related ERP tools

- Strong Financial analysis, quantitative skills & cost modelling

- High degree of motivation, the ability to prioritize and self-direct, strong business acumen and sound interpersonal skills

- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills required

- Should be from a BPO background

Education : Bachelors Degree, MBA - Finance or with CA or having experience in finance end to end process

Experience : 7 yrs. Relevant experience in accounts minimum 4 years in a managerial position
