Position Title: Business Development Manager  Travel: As and when needed to customer territories   Job Summary:  - Revenue/margin goals in specific accounts assigned.   - Front line sales on the account. Support Sales leader in sales initiatives.   - Client facing role with a need to interact with clients/prospects on a daily basis.   - Sales follow ups, coordination of day-to-day transactions on operations such as follow ups with Resource Management Group on programs/drives etc. - & to get things done.   - Initiate intervention where required from Client Partner/Engagement manager in specific activities.   - Work with PMO & Finance in ensuring accurate invoicing on time and collection of receivables (A/R.)   - Analysis on market data/PMO data & providing reports to the Account Mgmt. team on areas of concern/improvement.   Qualification: BE/B Tech/M tech/MS from a reputed institute , MBA from IIM, XLRI, SP Jain   Years of Experience: 2-3 Yrs in sales ; overall 8-10 Years of Experience  Must Have Technical & Functional skills:(in order of priority)  - Familiarity with the SDLC and the software industry (areas such as ADM, QA, Prod support, COTS products etc. & their role in the industry) in general.   - Having worked as a developer at some time before getting into Sales is a plus.   - Strong analytical skills and adept in the use of MS Excel for analysis.   - Broad knowledge of investment banking (for GS) & supply chain mgmt. (for SC) is preferred.   - Strong communication skills.   - Computation of project margins, analysis of profitability, implications of the T&C in a contract, what-if analysis/scenario analysis.   Work Experience:  Necessary Job Skills:  Work Experience  - Must have worked in IT services industry for at least 1-2 years.   - Should have done cold calling & created a sales funnel, qualified prospects & created proposals   - Experience in creating inside sales plan & executing the plan is a plus.   Job Skills.   - Good communication skills.   - Ability to conceptualize solutions to client needs.   - Patient and persistent.   - Ability to handle stress and rejections.   - Attention to details and closing open transactions.   Behavioral Skills:  - Assertive, patient & persistent, strong communication skills, Proactive/go-getter with a lot of energy.
