Genpact - Applied Statistics & Modeling

Pre-requisites

1. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the areas of analytics, applied Statistics and statistical modeling, Advanced Excel and databases like MS Access, Oracle/SQL Server

Skill Set :

a) Statistical modeling

b) MS Access

c) Have worked on Analytica (Lumina) tool and Minitab for building statistical models

d) Database handling - using SQL to organize, combine, compare, manipulate, and analyze disparate datasets, preferably in an MS SQL Server environment. Proven ability to validate and sanity-check large amounts of data, and investigate data discrepancies.

2. Tools to have expertise on: Strong working knowledge of Minitab, Oracle/SQL Server, MS excel (VBA), MS Powerpoint

3. Excellent communication skills and prior customer facing experience

Key Deliverables

- Orders/Revenue Econometric Forecast Models

- Development of Multivariate Statistical models to forecast Orders as well as Revenue for the all the customer businesses using macro-economic and industry data.

- Data Analysis

- Manage complex datasets in SQL Server, pull/modify data, establish relevant relationships
